Ambivalence

From Figaro to the Ghost: four faces drawn by the cello.

Through humor and the grotesque, play and unease, all the way to transcendence, the cello's melodies, joined by other instruments, capture the many sides of humanity and the world.

The world each note and each piece gives shape to is as diverse as our lives. 'Ambivalence' seeks the coexistence and harmony of all things that cannot be ranked.

By presenting ambivalent works for cello, cellist Jinwoo Yang explores a life and a music of living together.
